Visitors
to Huatulco seldom have problems with Montezuma’s Revenge.
Nevertheless it’s best to be careful. Drink, cook and brush teeth
with bottled water. At Villa Encantada, water dispensers
are located in both the kitchen and downstairs bar. Use this
water also in the portable icemakers.

When
cleaning fruits and vegetables use the Vegetable Rise or bleach which
is located under the sink in the kitchen. When dining out order
bottled water and it’s probably best not to eat from the street
carts. Should there be a problem simple over the counter remedies
are available at las farmacias located throughout La Crucecita. |

For grocery and sundry items, Huatulco has a nicely stocked supermarcato, La Fuente.
Located on the outer edge of La Crucecita, it should accommodate most
all your needs. Also don’t forget, Mexicans, like Europeans offer
individual specialty food markets. Meat, fish, fruit and vegetable
markets are lovely and located throughout La Crucecita. The
Mexican bakeries are also simply spectacular.
