Huatulco (pronounced hwa. tool. co) with its dazzling blue waters and unspoiled beaches lies on the Pacific south coast of Mexico and is located about 320 miles south east of Acapulco. Residing in the state of Oaxaca (wa.hah.ca), Huatulco stretches in length 22 miles along the Pacific coastline.

area is comprised of nine scenic bays: Bahias Violin, Conejos, Chahue,
Santa Cruz, Entrega, Maguey, Organo, Cacaluta and San Agustin, hence,
Bahias de Huatulco.

beauty of the area stems from its location at the foot of
the Sierra Madre del Sir range, as well as the rugged geography of the
mountains, hills, and valleys adored by the Coyula, San Agustin, and
Copalita rivers.

Bahias de Huatulco features 36 natural beaches of soft sand
and crystalline waters which are sheltered from the rest of the world
by 51,892 acres of thick tropical jungle.

Santa
Cruz bay is the local harbor servicing the Huatulco region.
This bay has a newly built deep water dock for mooring the Luxury
Cruise Ships that frequent the area between November and April.
Santa Cruz marina is the service provider offering tours of the bay,
diving, snorkeling and fishing excursions as well as other water
related activities. Bahia de Santa Cruz also has a thriving
commercial area which includes an historic open air Catholic Church, a
handicrafts market, and shopping center, disco, beach front
restaurants, residences, and rental shops for diving and snorkeling

Chahue
bay, a place of fertile land, gorgeous bays, and extensive blue waters,
is located between Santa Cruz and Tangolunda bays. It is the site
of an up and coming residential and commercial marina
development. To date, Marina Chahue offers 86 slips for yachts
and small boats with electricity, water and storage facilities.

Bahia
Maguey is a favored leisure time locale. It offers visitors the
freshness of it soft waves, peaceful setting and genuine Mexican
atmosphere. It is the perfect place to enjoy waters sport which

bay of San Agustin is the west most bay of the Huatulco region and is
remote to the main development area. The bay offers mile long gently
sloping beaches and warm, shallow lapping waters, making it the ideal
place for spectacular snorkeling.
